Open Training

Select Sundays, 7pm – 9pm (New York) on Zoom

A by-donation community class / physical theatre laboratory offered twice each month. This Open Training cycle is curated and organized by Jordan Rosin and will focus primarily on Butoh Dance & Playback Theatre.

Learn what The Ume Group is all about in a fast, fun medley of physical trainings. Each week features lessons in 2 unique disciplines led by company members or guests. Teachers and topics are subject to change.

To most easily participate, we recommend joining from a laptop or desktop computer in a quiet & well-lit space with sufficient room to sit, stand, jump, and otherwise move around. Wireless speaker/microphone combination is recommended, but not required.
